The other day I was talking about my digital art project in one of my posts and I finally decided what I'm going to do thanks to some inspiration from Vogue. I've decided that I'll collect a bunch of fashion shots and that I'll use a graphic tablet to draw over body parts that aren't covered by clothing and leave the actual clothing from the photo.

What I'm having a problem with now is how to present my work. I came up with two ideas and even made mock-ups so I could see what it might come out as when I actually make it :) Here they are. Just click on them to see them in more detail. If some of you didn't get what I meant by the stuff in the first paragraph, it's the girl (aka subject) in the photos below :)

Feel free to give me feedback and tell me which one you like more :) Hmm.. maybe I'll have enough time to make both.

Hi Sarah! I think I like the first one more :] haha but maybe its because I don't like brown LOL.

Other than that, I think the sense of 'journey' is more evident because of the map in the background.

i like the first option better, more originality.

hey sarah, youre so creative! i like the second one, i like the browny oldy colour scheme of the map &makes it look quite artistic! + the map def emphazies journey, although the first one does too with the article xD

Did u make the mock-ups on Photoshop? It's soo good. Did u use a guide to teach u how to use photoshop or did u just figure it our urself? Btw, I luv both of them but the second 1 with the map is probs better for the journey theme. :)

Yeah I did make them on ps :) I learnt to use ps by just figuring out what everything did and by reading random tutorials!

The second option definitely emphasises the topic 'journey' more and it looks really pretty, good luck with your project! :D

Oohh the first one looks amazing, but so does the second one. Since you have to depict journey in your project, the second one is probably a better option. It kinda reminds me of fashion around the world or something cuz of the model walking all over those countries :L :) And you're amazing at photoshop and art and all that stuff. Please post a picture of the finished project :)

Thank you everyone :D

@Honeybee
Yeah but either way my teacher okay'd both options because I was like.. "Clothing travels with you. Therefore, journey" 8D LOL. I'll post a picture up when I'm done if it looks good ^^"
