In the evening I went out with Tuan to borrow his dslr and shoot stuff for my conceptual and technical folio of work for digital art. The first two shots are for my conceptual photo, hence the long exposure. I'm meant to show a sense of journey in my photos so I thought light trails would've been the easiest thing to do (: Took this while Tuan was trying to spit on cars LOL.

I went to Tony's, Alan's and Marilyn's birthday dinner last night at Sunnybank Plaza. I got there at about 5 and talked to Trinh and Sarah Vo for most of the time until Khang came. Despite so many people being there it was quite a nice night! I wasn't going to blog today but then I found something to write about :D I was going through photos from my last year of primary school (split fringe days!) and found some stuff which I thought other people might find interesting. I went to East Brisbane State School which is a really tiny school which had about 200-300 students in 2007. It was connected to the Gabba so our school had the privilege of using it on our sports carnivals which was pretty awesome.

This is a Christmas present I got from a friend who was a year younger than me. I was really happy about it until he told me that it was from his deceased grandmother ._.

Okay so.. I know most primary schools in their last year get to go to NSW for a camp or whatever but since my school was small and didn't have the money, we went to a lawn bowls club which was like a 10 minute walk from the school. You guys jealous?

In this photo are my year levels senior shirts! We didn't have the fancy collared shirts like all the other schools have. The shirts don't even match our school colour wtf LOL. The year level that graduated before us had nice collared ones but they were blue and white (the school colours were green and gold).

I left most of my head uncovered so you can see my wonderful hair :) This was at district athletics. My school was small enough that I actually qualified for this -_- I think I competed in the second heat and came forth.

I went to the Valentino Retrospective exhibition at GOMA this afternoon with Khang but I couldn't take any photos so yeah. Some of them were quite odd but some were genuinely pretty! This was my favourite:

I decided to try to get into a certificate III photography course at Metropolitan South. The lady said that I might not be able to do it though because it's pretty popular.. :\ so yah, if that doesn't work out then Billy Blue it is. Bubye.

So.. since I was literally dying from cramps yesterday, Linda and I got into this big discussion about the female menstruation cycle 8)

First of all, if there are any guys reading this. YOU. HAVE. NO. IDEA. HOW. LUCKY. YOU. ARE. TO. NOT. GET. PERIODS. You will never ever ever EVER understand the pain or annoyance women have to go through :@

It's so inconvenient. Linda was going on about how the government should fund women with money to pay for their pads/tampons and I strongly agree. Pads are getting expensive these days (well actually, what isn't --") and my family saves money by buying mass amounts of pads when they go to Vietnam at the end of every year -_-

What's also really annoying is having to carry pads/tampons around in little makeup bags. It's not annoying because of the weight or anything.. It's because eventually someone who goes through your bag is like "Aw this bag is cute *opens* D: . . . *closes*"

Okay no more I feel like I'm just rambling and no one agrees TT LOL bye.
