lovelyshoes.net

A few weeks ago, some friends and I ordered stuff off http://lovelyshoes.net. The package just arrived today so I thought that I should do a review.

11 items (10 pairs of shoes and one bag): US $ 147.66
Shipping: US $100.28
Total: US $247.94

Packaging: Each individual shoe had a plastic packet to protect them. All the shoes were stuffed into the box together but only one or two pairs had dents in them.

Shipping: Obviously a bit pricey as you can tell from the information above. I didn't really mind that much since it ended up being something around $10/pair. The shipping was pretty quick! The package was prepared, shipped and arrived in less than a fortnight. They also supply you with a tracking number so you can check where your package is whenever you like.

Quality: I'm actually really surprised with the quality. All of the zips work perfectly. The heels are sturdy. The bows are in tip top shape. The only problem with some of them was that the glue was visible. It doesn't really matter though because it's so little that you wouldn't notice it unless you were to grab the shoe and actually inspect it for a few minutes. Another surprise was the size of the shoes. In a good way though! From some past reviews I've read, people said that the sizing was a centimeter or two off but for the pair of wedges I got, they fit perfectly!

Overall: Really good value for money and I'd definitely order again!

Here's the pair of wedges I got from the site. Originally I got them to wear with my semi dress but they didn't suit as much as I thought they would so that was a little disappointing. Nonetheless they're really nice and comfortable. The only problem is that I'd probably be taller than Khang in these ha. Click here to see them on the site.

Sandra, Linda and Thu were nice enough to let me take their shoes out of the plastic wrap so that I could take photos for this post so here they are. Click on the numbers to see the shoes on the site (from left to right) [ 1 ] | [ 2 ] | [ 3 ]

Seduction leads to destruction

I've challenged myself to type this post in less than 10 minutes so that I can go back to giving my 100% attention to Khang. I don't know why but usually my posts take me over half an hour to write. This kind of thing doesn't come very naturally to me I suppose.

Anyway! I went to DFO Jindalee with Sandra, Adrii, Salina and Alice today and my life feels so complete after buying so many rings from Diva. Everything there was 20 pieces for $10 /faints. Here's a collective photo of what all of us got. By the way, half of these photos were scabbed from Alice the ugly so yeah, thanks if you're reading.

All of the girls managed to buy so much with so little it was amazing. They were all carrying about five bags each and I was just chillin' with everything stuffed into one bag. I spent all of my money and I only ended up with a bunch of rings, a fleece varsity jacket for Khang (hopefully it fits) and singlet :( Alice got so much stuff and had the same amount of money as me asjdhasdjealous.

If anybody was wondering, both of the things I bought were from Cotton On.

Sorry for the quality of the photos by the way. My sister has the sd card for my camera at the moment and I'm too lazy to ask her to bring it to me.

So yeah, It was a pretty good day in general minus the bitchy bus driver in the afternoon. I asked him if the bus went back to the city and he told me to look at the front of the bus. I don't see why he couldn't have just said yes rather than making me walk into the pouring rain just to see ugh way to wreck a good day.

Have a great evening and damn it, I wrote this post in 13 minutes. So close yet so far :(

Let's just be

Yay, we all did our hair today. My hair looks exactly the same in these photos but it's a lot more noticeable in real life. Sandra got her blonde streak and Alice bleach/dyed her hair. I couldn't get Alice's hair to the colour that she wanted it to be because we ran out of bleach and the chemist didn't have any ugh. Nonetheless it looks pretty good on her. She looks good semi-ranga.

I don't really have anything more to say so I'll just leave it here. Have a wonderful weekend :)

Firsts

From left to right: Lovisa gem ring (for Linda), Lovisa cluster ring (for Sandra), fox ring from eBay and pinky ring from Silver city.

I'm beginning to love rings very dearly and after the photos Khang took for me today, I've realised that I have really gross looking hands. You can still see the last pieces of nude nail polish on some of my fingers oops.

I went for a group interview at Supre this morning and there was only two other girls with me. Not only were they gorgeous, they were also in uni and had heaps of work experience. Naturally I was intimidated but I was actually pretty lucky I chose the 11am session because apparently the other ones had something like 10+ people attending them. I think I did alright considering it was my first interview. Just thinking back on it now though I realised I said some pretty silly stuff ugh /face desk.

They asked me what I wouldn't be able to live without if I was stranded on an island.

I said I wouldn't be able to live without another person. Legitimate enough! Until I for some reason blurted out it was because I was really dependent.. zzz yeah that was probably my biggest downfall but everything else was really chill.

Ally blazer and bandeau, Supre sheer singlet, Sportsgirl bag, wrist candy from Cotton On and Diva.

Alice, Dora and Adrii are coming over to my house tomorrow so that I can do their hair. This is so exciting. I'm planning to bleach my hair just a tad lighter. Alice is planning to go full on golden blonde. Dora is planning to get a blonde streak or some highlights here and there depending on what I can do. Hopefully everything will go well and neither of them will kick me in the face for screwing up their hair.

Have a wonderful night!

Just a mix of topics

I'm in a super wonderful mood tonight because all my assessments are over! OUWDOJOIDHISD I can now relax and screw up my body clock again. This feels so amazing I cannot even explain. So yeah, to celebrate this occasion I'll be rambling on about useless things and splattering this post with photos I never uploaded to blogspot.

This is my wardrobe which I recently covered with pages from Russh and Cleo. Clusters of images always fascinate me but I can never seem to compose them properly. That sentence made no sense if you think about it. This reminded me of suitcase rummage for some reason. Just letting you guys know that I'll definitely be selling next month! (unless I forget to register or the weather decides to be bipolar or something)

I really adore doing people's hair. Alice is trusting me to bleach and dye her hair these holidays because the salons usually charge around $100 for a treatment and askldjasdkh I can't wait. By the way, I finally got my mum's consent to dye my hair. Hopefully I'll get a nice medium brown that's actually noticeable.

Okay, last one. This is my gorgeous friend Linda. She's been with me through a lot. I can tell her every single one of my secrets and not only will the secrets never come out of her mouth again, she will also never judge me. It's so rare for me to meet somebody who could accept every single part of me without wanting to change any of it. She's one of the sweetest girls I've met in this lifetime and I'm never letting her leave. We've already made plans to go to America when we're 19 or so as well :)

Have a great night!
