Travel Diaries - Byron: Day 01 - 03

Top from Missguided, hat from Cotton On.

HELLOOOO I'm back!! I had a couple of problems with Photoshop on my MacBook and I'm so sorry for the huge delay in this travel diary. Simon and I recently took a short trip to Byron. I was so overworked and stressed out I wanted a weekend away just to relax before I dived back into uni work properly. Simon actually ended up getting super sick a few days before we left so we spent about 80% of our trip in bed eating mini corndogs but hey, all the more reason to head back soon.

Started our road trip by making a stop off at Yatala Pies for lunch.

We checked into our little bungalow and absolutely loved it. It was our first airbnb experience and you can find the listing for the space: here

Ordered Japanese for dinner so Simon didn't have to leave the bed.

 Super adorable brownie for dessert.

Late night snacks while watching reruns of Say Yes To The Dress (LOVE THIS SHOW).

Simon was feeling well enough on the last day of our trip for a little adventure so we made our way out to have a look at the main beach and city area.

Raw foodie heaven.

I cannot explain how much good food there was in this tiny little area.

Stopped off at emte boutique to visit my old co-worker from Supre who I hadn't seen for at least 3 years. Bought these earrings above as well while I was there.

Simon bought me a necklace with my birthday's moon phase.

Meet Darcy :)

Drove up the Cape Byron Lighthouse and proceeded to be massive tourists.

Said goodbye to Byron and hello to a gorgeous scenic drive home.

Made a quick pit stop along the way to stretch our legs.

Made a stop off at the Gold Coast for John's birthday and was spoiled with burgers from Tai.

Pretty quick post for three days, huh? I hope you guys have been loving the warmer weather in Brisbane recently and that all of you have been tip top! Pinky promise to put up a photo and caption update before this week ends. Thank you always for your patience, s.
