Hi guys. I was talking to Melisa today and somehow we got to the subject of pillow forts. I had nothing to do so I decided I might as well attempt making one. It didn't exactly work out the way I planned but it was pretty :) It looks so ordinary when the light is on but when it's dark the fairy lights make it look magical.

The more I look at it the more I forget about all the dodgy stuff that's happening in my life. I'm just going to leave it there until my mum yells at me for wasting electricity and tells me to take it down LOL.

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while guys. Nothing interesting was happening so yeah. I went out today with Adrii. We originally planned to go dress shopping but we didn't have enough cash so we just roamed around for a while trying on random things before heading to Southbank.

While we were walking around, we spotted this nice little place called Gelare and decided to have lunch there. We walked in and the place smelled like heaven. It was actually cheaper than I expected too :)

My waffle with a scoop of ice cream which cost $8 something in total. All of the ice cream that they scoop is in a cone shape :3

Contact lens review for Tear Blue!

These were purchased from http://mukuchu.blogspot.com As you could guess by the name, these lenses are designed to make your eyes appear as though they are teary or in other words, really shiny. These lenses do add a great shine to your eyes, especially with the three separate 'tears' which add highlights. Here's the advertised picture:

This ad is probably one of the few which is actually really accurate in terms of colour and size repesentation.

I think it was Justine that mentioned these lenses look like tires LOL. This series actually has a really soft look, the borders and colours are really light and don't create any harsh lines so it looks really natural. The downside to this though is that the colours don't come up very well on dark eyes.

FINAL VERDICT:

Design: 6/10 - Already talked about most of the design already :) Really natural and soft if that's what you're going for
Size: 4/10 - They're only 14.00mm lens but even so they look tiny compared to the my Ashwing lenses; they still give some minor enlargement though.
Colour: 5/10 - The blue is so dull.. All of the blue lenses I've tried apart from Nudy blue are so disappointing :(

The three of us woke up this morning and it was raining, a lot. As a result, this made us more tired than we already were so instead of going out for another photo day as planned, we stayed at home and had a Veronica Mars marathon which was accompanied by lollies, ice cream and chicken wings.

Adrii and Sandra decided that they're gonna crash for another night so my room is going to have more food on the floor than it does already.
