New beauty products I've bought

Hourglass - Ambient Lighting Blush in Dim Infusion.

Absolutely love the luxurious packaging. I originally planned on getting a Nars blush but after not having any orange toned blushes in stock a fantastic lady at Mecca recommended me this product instead.

The powder is super fine and sits matte on the skin. It's quite sheer at first but very buildable!

Bare Minerals - Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Make Your Move.

As you all know I absolutely love Hey Claire so I grabbed this lipstick as soon as I saw it since it was in one of her recent favourites videos. The formula is slightly thick but unfortunately the colour sucks on me! I don't feel like Kylie Jenner at all but Claire rocks it like a total babe.

Stila - Stay All Day Foundation & Concealer.

I was recommended this product by my practice manager earlier this year and can definitely say that it's as good as she said it was. The formula is quite thin for the amount of full coverage it provides. The brush included in the set is also perfect for spreading out the product on your face before buffing it in. I press the foundation into my skin with my hands after using a brush just to give it that last final push into my skin and it sets relatively matte - and yes, it really does stay all day!

The top also includes a creamy concealer which matches the foundation shade and adds that extra bit of coverage for dark spots and blemishes.

The only downfall of this product is probably the applicator. When you twist open the lid it's connected to a little spoon so you can't really measure out how much you need. I usually use the included brush to dip it into the spoon before dotting the brush all over my face.

Kit - Nail Polish in TuTu.

I received a Mecca gift pack as a part of spending over $85 on one of their opening days.

Hourglass - Veil Mineral Primer. It's in such a tiny tube but it's definitely going to be enough product to last me for about a month. The primer glides on so easily and gives a satin finish to my skin before I apply my foundation.

Kate Sommerville - True Lash Enhancing Eye Makeup Remover.

Lancome - Juicy Tube. Gave this to my mum since I'm not a huge fan of lip glosses in general.

Stila - Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner in Damsel. I absolutely love these crayons! I've currently also got one in a purple colour as well. They glide onto the eyes super easily and are probably one of the best in terms of not moving throughout the day. It still transfers but it's super easy to wipe away with my finger.

Kit - Matte Top Coat | Nail Polish in Skinny Dip.

YAY - my favourite part of this post. Josie Maran - Argan Love Your Lips Hydrating Lipstick.

My lips are super dry and make it hard for me to wear lipsticks during the day so I fell in love once I found these lipsticks. It's a colour surrounded in a layer of argan oil to keep the lips moisturised during wear. The colours aren't super opaque because these tend to feel like more of a pigmented balm but there's definitely a good colour payoff!

Soap and Glory - Sugar Crush Body Scrub.

THE BEST SMELLING BODY SCRUB EVER.

Kit - Summer Soiree Eye Palette.

This is definitely one of my favourite products so far this month. Originally I was slightly disappointed with how they came onto my eyes when I used my brush however when you pat these colours on with your finger they look absolutely incredible. I am in LOVEEE with the first four colours in the top row because they're perf for highlighting *drool*.

Some other testers I've been trying at the moment recommended by some kind ladies at Mecca Cosmetica and Maxima. My favourite it the Lip de Luscious product! HG products for everybody who struggles with chapped lips and makes Carmex feel like yesterday's news in an instant.

Photo & caption update XLIX

Hello hello from a very exhausted Srh. I'm currently in the middle of a 12 day break between my finals so I thought that I'd post something for you guys! I've got a fair bit of content prepared for the holidays so I'm pretty excited to put all of that together. I don't have much to say in this intro so I'll leave it here to keep it short and sweet.

 SISTA.

Had no idea that ASOS changed the packaging for their jewellery!

Who doesn't love coming home to this?

Alice's late birthday gift to me!!! THANK YOU SWAGLICE.

Subscribed to Lust Have It after they were having a $7.50 special - it's basically like glambox/bella box etc. where they send you a bunch of new items to try out. I've now actually unsubscribed from the service just because :).

Went to uni early in the morning and was almost late to class because I stood for 15 minutes just watching this super chill kookaburra watching people walk by right next to it.

Used live bait for the first time while fishing and got so upset. I was an idiot and made the mistake of naming them :(

Sunsets on the way back to Brisbane from the Gold Coast.

Bag from Reebonz, dress from Ally.

Second Lust Have It box - was pretty disappointed with this box. The only thing I'm really loving is the moisturiser in the middle.

 Morning pouts.

Before and after seeing my fantastic brow lady at Get Threaded.

 Top from The Iconic.

Cha tea chills with ma favs.

I know this post was a little bit chill and kinda boring but I'll be putting up a makeup haul post tomorrow to make up for it! It'll be the first of few (hopefully) so we'll see how everything goes. In the mean time I hope everybody is feeling happy and well rested. x, s.
